My own if possible, but if I wasn't able to have children then I would adopt and love it like it was my own.

Depends on the person. I always wanted to have children, I have one, that is enough, and my friend could not have children so she adopted two. I think it takes a very special person to adopt a child and call them their own. I also know another couple that couldn't have children, so they adopted a little girl. Another lady I know didn't want to have her own children she wanted to adopt and later found out that she was pregnant when she went to adopt her little boy from Cambodia, her first son and adopted son are only 3 months apart with her first son being the oldest. She wants to adopt again, a little girl.

I would rather have a child. It's a part of you, you created it! Of course if I was unable to have my own children I would definitely adopt opposed to living without a child. There are so many out there and all they need is someone to teach them right from wrong, guide them with love and shower them with affection. It would feel mighty good to know that you gave a child a second chance instead of allowing them to travel from home to home without knowing what "long term" is.

I used to want kids, but the older I get the more I want to adopt!! I just don't want to deal with the crap that comes along with actually having a baby (weight gain, depression, etc...) Besides, there are so many children with no families that would love to be adopted!!!

Adopt - for the usual reason - it seems amazingly unfair to spoil yourself with your very own kid when there are hundreds of thousands out there without homes or families. and those kids, once let into your lives, are as much a part of you as yours would be. But, when i do finally find that girl, i like to think we'd do both - adopt, but let our own kids arrive as and when and if they do.

All of my children are biologically mine, but I have never been opposed to adoption. I would welcome an adopted child into our family and love it as much as the children I given birth to.

Adopt one. Especially if abortion becomes illegal. They would be packed in adoption homes like sardines.
