first author?

when u work with a professor to write an abstract, who is the first author? you or the profesor. u r the one who accumulated all the data and put them all together...

It depends on the field. In my field, they are usually done in alphabetic order.

in science it's normally the person who did the actual work. the prof rarely has first author unless it's a really hot field and they take the credit
