my fiance says about 25-50% depending on the menthol. hes an expert, been smoking for like 10 years.

What happens is that the menthol slightly numbs your lungs, allowing you to inhale more smoke per breath. This is why people feel that the menthol enhances the effect, because they are simply able to smoke more than they could with a normal cigarette. So keep in mind while the "high" may seem greater, you're getting it at a greater cost

I know that with cigarettes, menthol only makes you feel more refreshed... I doesn't add to the high at all. I imagine that with cannabis, the effect would be the same--"minty fresh".
