Get yourself a big water pistol and fill it... Tell them when you hear them going at it you'll give them a pre-warning squirt... If they don't stop, the ice water in the frig is next... This usually works well...

geeeeeeeeeeesh I can't believe that the first time it happened you didn't jump up and tell them to STOP.

Why are you worried about being polite when they are being so very rude and crude?

Just come out and tell her that you don't want them having sex while you are in the room. Be very firm. Then if they do it....jump up and turn on the light and tell them to get out of the room.
You need to be very firm abou this.

It sounds like you might be so nice that it is hard for you to do this. Nothing wrong with being nice, but you can't let people abuse you and expect you to be in a room while they are having sex. This is downright RUDE!!!!

Another thought is if they do it again when you have asked them not to is to pour a large cup of cold water on them, Tell them to get out of the room and then stand firm. If you are in a dorm you can go complain to your dorm manager. Maybe you need a new roomate. Really NO one should have to put up with this one more time.

Be strong, you are in the right. If you let her get by with this I would be concerned that you might spend a lifetime being a door mat to other people.

Bring it up as a joke or in a casual way and gage her reaction. If she is apologetic, accept it but then let her know it really makes you feel uncomfortable and then come up with a solution. (e.g she only has sex when you are not home and a scarf on the doorknob is an indicator they are having sex to avoid you walking in) As your roommate she should respect your request since you are paying half the bills. And quite honestly, her boyfriend should be taking her to his place (or a hotel) since he knows she has a roomate that she shares the room with. Bottom line dont be afraid to speak up.

Ask her to not have sex while you're in the room. You live there too! If she can't help herself, she must be an exhibitionist so threats of recording it or taking pictures and sending them to her parents will get you nowhere... Instead, ask for a different roommate (this sounds like a college dorm situation to me)

Why would you be polite? If she was your friend she would respect you and not do it in the first place. Don't be polite, tell how you feel. Also if this roomate is the one who's name is on the lease of the house/apartment, move out because technically it's her place.

"Listen....its obvious you don't respect yourself since you have the balls to have sex in our room, so the next time you feel like doing it DO NOT do it here! If so, ima have to report you (assuming your dorming) or kick ya skanky @ss! You choose, either way it ain't happenin' again"

Or when they are doing it turn on all the light, ask them questions in the middle of it..just try to make it as uncomfortable for them as possible.

Uh, well I say if she is rude enough to do it when you're in the room, then there should be no 'niceness' about telling her NOT to.

Let her know that you don't like it, and that it will NOT be taking place while you're there, it's common courtesy. Plus, she can always go his place.

Is it in a dormroom or something, or does she just bust out and screw in the living room? You can ask, but if it is a dormroom or studio apt. you dont really have a right to ask unless it is like really freaky with no blankets and the light is on

thats not fair on you! dont make a big deal out of it i reccommend making a joke out of it, a few comments about your getting fed up of waking up to sex sounds. worst case scenario do the same to her and be really loud see how she likes it!
