I am 21 years old and still in college and my Bf is 23 and just started working we went with mutual friends to a bachelor Party and bachelorett party combine and a few drinks later were dared to walk down to the white chapel and get hitched since we were more cozy than the engaged couple. Well we did actually get married. We were only together 6 months before this/ friends a year and were only thinking of getting engaged!I am really confused and scared wedding night was a blur and i dont think we used a condom. This happened last week and i think i am still in shock. I do love love him but have always dreamed of a real wedding with my whole family and all my friends there.

Well i got married in April and we had the big wedding thing with our friends and family. We had been dating about a month before he left for Iraq then we stuck together though that. We had met like 3 years for a few months then he disappeared until August of 05. We started dating in December and he was gone in January. You could always get it nulfied since you were both under the influence since it's not a binding contract if you're intoxicated. But if you want to stick it out, sometimes the best things happened in an instant. So you can still have a real wedding...just won't be able to be married again if you know what I mean, but you could always get the marriage enulied then go for the real wedding later. It's pretty simple.

It seems you guys had too much to drink and you probably wear not thinking. Getting married is a big responsibility, it's not a game. If you and him really love each other it might work out. If you would like to have a real wedding it's not too late. But do it for all the right reasons. I myself got hitch in LA'S VEGAS 13 years ago and don't regret it one bit.. My hubby and I wear planning a big wedding we had the date and everything set. But one day he went to visit me and we both decided we didn't want to wait for that long and we drove to VEGAS that night and the following morning got hitch. With the money we wear gonna spend on all the wedding expenses we ended up using it for a down payment on our home. We are happily married and even though I didn't get a big wedding. I ended up getting something more or should I say someone more witch is my soul mate. Being married has been a great experience for myself I wouldn't have it any other way.

Did you get a marriage license? Are you sure the marriage is even legal?

Get a pregnancy test find out if you are pregnant. Then decide if you want to marry this guy. Get it annulled and plan a real wedding or throw another ceremony for your family later.

I'd have to say that entering into marriage as and dare, and drunk is not a good way to start your life together. I wouldn't worry about the whole "big wedding" party that you missed. Do you really know this guy?? Do you want to spend the rest of your life with him. Will he be a good father to your children??? Think about these things....
Good Luck...

What does your boyfriend.think about this? Not remembering your wedding is not a way to start a marriage. Talk to him, find out what he wants to do and let him know your feelings. This can easily be annulled and you two can have a real wedding later. You don't sound happy about this situation and it will always be a black mark on your feelings together if you don't resolve this situation.

if you don't want to be married get an anulment and marry when you are ready.

If you feel comfortable being married,. then plan a service of marriage .....
my son did that., He married his wife when he joined the air force. Then a year later then had a regular wedding. It was lovely.

It is up to you. Just don't rush in to something that you did while drunk. Being married is a HUGE thing and not something to take lightly.

Best wishes

You can still have your dream wedding and don't worry go to Planned Parenthood and ask for help if you are still in shock...but you said you didn't remember if you guys used a condom so the only thing I can tell you is don't drink until you cannot remember what the **** you're doing!

You cab still have that big wedding. Things happen for a reason so always remember that... By the way that brother in law is still married to my wonderful sister in law & they are alot stronger in love than those I see that plan out everything.

Weddings really are just for show, if you like a big show just have another wedding. The marriage is what is important, and if you love him and he loves you work on the marriage and forget about the wedding issues.
