your question is not asking about where to get new av cables, i don't think, i think you're asking about an RF switch - amazon's listing - http://www.amazon.com/RF-Switch-Modulator-Nintendo-GameCube/dp/B00005RL4L

but the A/V cables should be fine as they are

white and red are for sound. one's in, it's ok.

the only one you should be really worried about is the yellow, because yellow is for video

Yes you can buy the A/V cables that plug into the TV. You can buy them pretty much anywhere from an electronics store such as radio shack or a video game store. You can also buy them at target or walmart. It'll probably run you around 8-15 dollars and they do sell generic ones you can use. Just make sure it says it's compatible with the game cube.

You should be able to buy a replacement at just about anywhere that sells a Gamecube. I don't know about the Gamecube but other systems have upgradable ones that will hook up to High Def if you have a HiDef tv.

I also have a Gamecube (and a PS2 in that matter as well) but all electrical stockists sell them, such as Maplins. I prefer to get them off ebay which is generally much cheaper although the quality sometimes may not be as good as the ones bought from the high street.

Yellow = video
White/Red = audio left/right

Using just yellow and red will work, it just means you wont get stereo sound, just mono.

If you want to buy a new one anyway, ebay is your best bet, most shops have stopped supporting gamecube that much and just sell the games.

yes you can buy that part for the gamecube. If there is a Rhino Video Games around where you live they will definitely have it for you for cheap.
