I am having this terrible stabbing pain in my groin when I walk it is unbearable I am not having any regular contactions and other than that feel fine it is only while I walk around. I am dialated to 2 and about 30% effaced. Any one else have this?

Could be the baby is on a nerve. OUCH!! Sounds painful. I bet you'll be having that baby soon. Best of luck!

im having the same problems like the exact same things and im also 37 weeks but talk to your dr about the pains just in case im 3 centimeters and 50% effaced so you may be you are in the very early stages of labor

YES!!! I had the same thing with three of my four children!!!! It would take me by surprise all of a sudden and I would feel like I would fall to the ground it hurt so much... If this is your first it could be muscles stretching and the baby could be pinching nerves. I had large children so maybe you are too!

You had the baby "drop" the pain is often descibed as walking into the corner of a table. Be on the lookout for your water breaking or leaking.

Don't worry. The baby is just basically pinching a nerve right now.
Even though it hurts, try to walk alot, since you're already dilated, walking can speed up the process.

Its the baby on your nerve. At this stage the baby rests in the pelvis and often right on the main nerve that is there.

Its normal.
