Lack of sleep is something you will have to get used to with a baby. During pregnancy, during middle of the night feedings. Mine are now 3 1/2 & 2 and I'm still not getting any sleep. Comes with the territory. I'm sorry your only 16, and wish there was more that I could do to help. I waited until 35, and although I don't have more sleep, I'm used to not sleeping.

It is strongly recommended that you do not sleep on your tummy after the first trimester.

Position yourself on your back with a pillow under your knees or on your side with a pillow between the knees.

I'm currently having to sleep with a body pillow for my legs and tummy and one for my bust, just to take the pressure off.

Another idea is to look at your bed. How old is it? Was it comfortable before pregnancy? If not you can buy a bed topper such as a memory foam which is 2.5 inches in thickness. We just bought one at Costco for about $130. It is a lot cheaper than a new bed and really makes a difference in sleeping through the night. Except the frequent trips to the bathroom that is........

I didn't sleep much during any of my pregnancies (4). Couldn't get comfortable, had heartburn, etc. I looked like hell. You also won't sleep much after you have the baby. When they say "sleep when the baby sleeps", that's crap cause when else are you going to get the laundry and housecleaning done, and maybe even a quick shower. Well, maybe your boyfriend will be kind enough to help out and give you a rest. But for now, maybe try sleeping with a pillow propped by your belly or between your legs.

I honestly believe it's your body getting to you ready for the baby. Cause when that baby gets here, sleep is only a memory. :) Have you seen a dr? You really need to see one if you haven't. He can tell you how far along you are and maybe help you with your sleeping problem. Of course, the fact that you're only 16 and pg might have something to do with you not sleeping...It could be nerves. See a dr...they can help. Take care of yourself.

get up in the morning and exercise, do ur daily arrons, take a nice warm shower with lavender body wash, make sure you ve had enough to eat and get in the recliner chair with a pillow. and try some positions that feel comfortable, like on ur side with the pillow under ur head, neck and part of ur shoulder. or possibly lying on ur back. the recliner helped me out alot at night.

Lay on your side and put a pillow under your tummy. When you get further along a pillow between your knees helps relieve the pressure off of your back.

Try sleeping on your right or left side. That should help. Also after the baby is born, you should go and get birth control like you should have before this baby was concieved.

you need a body pillow. I love mine to death. I have to put my tummy up on it just a little. I am 21 weeks and thank my hubby everynight for my pillow.

Put a little pillow under your belly to help support it.
