I can see where youre coming from - he's not the ugliest guy on the planet but he does cry way too much. Being emotional isnt a bad thing - but crying practically every televised football match? C'mon!!! Get over it already!
And i think he is actually a little bit sly on the pitch - such as nothing is ever his fault and he'll cry if the ref thinks it is! Anyone else know what i mean?!

I have nothing against the guy personally, and I agree he's extremely talented, but I think you're misjudging the reason why a lot of people don't like him.
There probably are some guys out there that object to him because he's a bit girly. But there's one overriding reason why a lot of guys (and girls) in the UK take issue with him, rightly or wrongly, and that's the incident with Rooney where he requested the red in the World Cup. Which has nothing to do with the reasons you mention.

Yes, i have to agree (with Jenny). I followed Portugal's team before he started playing International, but he's a huge asset. All footballers get emotional...look at David Beckham and Gazza, both great players. The guys in this country are all sore because his antics got England knocked out of the World Cup. I have to admit it was completely unfair but the guy did what he had to do to get his team through the game. All's fair in love and war.

i totally agree that CR is the sexiest man alive.
i asked the question "why does everyone hate CR so much?" the other day, and it's mainly jealous boys who say he's gay and a cheater, but that's just coz they wish they were as good looking and talented as him. england supporters can't seem to get over the rooney incident because once they find a fault they'll hang onto it for dear life and use it against you, which is what's happened to CR.
