They both came out around the same time . Tim and Faith first album were both made in 1993 . Tim McGraw and Take Me As I Am . And his second album was out in 1994 Not A Moment Too Soon and That is when Faith's album started taken off . In January 1994 Wild One was on the Top of the Charts for weeks . Tim's song Indian Outlaw came out soon after . And Faith was 19 which was 1987 when she came to Nashville to become a singer . And Tim in 1989 . So , actually it took Faith longer . It all works for a reason . They were meant to be together . That is why their paths crossed when they did . Just like everybody . Faith was a nobody at one time too . So , what if she still sold stuff for Reba or a receptionist . What if she didn't have her celebrity status . Do you think he would want her ? They both quit college and had a dream to be what they wanted and they both achieved it . Tim left Christine his longtime girlfriend and Faith was engaged to Scott (record producer ) it take a strong love to be able two break two innocent peoples hearts ! It was meant to be ! I agree with the person that said up above me somewhere . They made each other more famous by being together ! If they wouldn't have gotten together I think they wouldn't be as famous . But they are the sexiest people and people like that .

The way I remember it is they both were equally famous; she have songs before him but they became big together. If that is the person she was meant to be with; then yes she would still be with him no matter what his job. The same could be asked for all couples.

Addition:
Maybe I am the odd man out; but I don't believe that a cute a guy in a rusty pinto doesn't get noticed. Finding a good guy or woman is hard enough without picking and choosing over what cars they drive or their income/job.

Actually, while Faith was discovered first and became big... Tim became a larger success and met her when she opened up for him. The answer to your hypotetical question is... yes I think Faith would have fallen for Tim even if he wasn't the celebrity that he is. They are both level headed and madly in love with each other.

**Note:Tim's Grandmother saw Faith singing one night on TV and she told him that she would be perfect for him and that she could see him with her, or she said that he was going to marry her someday.

Well do you think the Trump marriage will happen if he does not have money or she does not have beauty? Even for ordinary people you still should have what the other person needs...Are you with me?

She never would have married him. Can you think of any rich and famous person who married a regular person?
