I have already obtained my teaching qualifications, however, the job opportunities for my area are limited. I am trying to find some job alternatives.

You have a credential?
If so, check with school districts about being available to students needing special tutoring.

Home schooling is generally conducted by the parents of the child being home schooled. Your teaching qualifications won't mean beans to a home-school parent, in most cases. Most people begin home-schooling children by making them. I will not bother explaining how this works - I'll assume you know the drill.

I suggest googling "Governess Jobs". There are a lot of agencies out there looking for people to work in homes. If you are willing to move, the opportunities will be even better.

You supply the student (your own kid). You purchase a curriculum and join a home school group.
