You could also score one on a fielders choice. Say a guy walks to first. Steals Second. Advances to third on an error. Then a ball is hit but the batter is thrown out at first but he scores from third. The batter would not get a hit because he was put out, but would get credit for a RBI

A lot.

Once you get a guy on base from a walk, error, dropped third strike, etc. you can then advance him all the way around by a combination of one or more of the following: you can balk him in, walk him in if the bases are loaded, wild pitch, passed ball, error, fielders choice, sacrifice (i.e., suicide squeeze), sacrifice fly, stolen base (steal home), interference. Possibly more ways I can't think of right now.
