I am a devout Democrat but Hillary will say anything she has to if she thinks it will help her get elected. Regardless of whether it has any basis in truth or reality.

To quote Hillary Rodham Clinton-during the 1992 Clinton Pres.Campaign-after a meeting with Lloyd Cutler , when she was asked to "remain on board and not to renounce Clinton"
-because of Gennifer Flowers' allegations of a 12 year affair with Bill Clinton..or Clinton could not win the Democratic nomination-
Hillary said " WHAT'S IN IT FOR ME? WHAT DOES HILLARY CLINTON GET OUT OF THIS DEAL"? She was reportedly told she could "call her own shots" & "have a blank check".
After Clinton was elected-as you recall they were late to their own inauguration...because Vice president Al Gore had just found out that the West Wing office in the White House ( usually reserved for the vice president-was instead going to be occupied by Hillary Clinton .Gore threatened to resign . Hillary would not back down . After the oath-with everyone waiting for the new President Clinton to make his appearance-Hillary was "screaming at Bill with "uncontrolled & unbridled fury". Anyone who thinks Hillary didn't run that White House ..has blinders on .She was a power hungry , maniacal psycho then -and she is no different now . Hillary's every move is calculated to further her personal agenda . Every word the woman utters has a hidden meaning : "WHAT'S IN IT FOR HILLARY CLINTON" ?

I think she's trying to employ patriotism at a time when there is much disgrace and animosity amongst Americans. We may not be able to agree on a lot of things (Republican, Democratic, conservative, liberal, right wing, left wing, etc.) but one thing that we all can agree to is that we LOVE this country and do not take to kindly to anyone threatening our home-front!
Smart move, O Hillary Clinton!
United We Stand and Divided we Fall....
...just the other day someone was talking about burning the Flag. I hate my President but I love my country damn it!

It is possible that some one that you do not share a political affiliation with can still agree with SOME of your principals.
She does not have to be voting on EVERY issue with stupidity or cynicism. Are you that one dimensional?
This is the problem with polarized politics. There is little room for compromise when people disagree just because the feel they have to be "opposite" of the other side.
Agree where you can and disagree respectfully otherwise. That is democracy. If you want ot practice blind hate, move to the Middle East.

She views this as a benign thing to help propel her into the "moderate" category and therefore widening her appeal.
She does not realize
1. We see through this
2. She HAS NO APPEAL
