You are stuck on yourself. There are other things you can put your focus on that mater most. Become a mentor for an underprivileged child or something. You don't know who you may empower or inspire--but you will never know b/c you are wrapped up into yourself you can't see anything else! Life is not fair, so suck it up and do something with yours. Stop trying to escape and live for a change. You have a purpose, you just haven't looked for it to realize you have it. Read a great book, The Purpose Driven Life. I guarantee it will change our life or at least the way you think. You have nothing to lose---so do it. Read it and tell me how you liked it. If you weren't so hopeless, you wouldn't be here asking the age old question, we all have asked at some point in time, but we got over it. You're burnt out, revive yourself.

So run away. Run away from everyone for a while. Get someone to watch the cats. Go somewhere remote where no one will bother you. Go to the seaside or the countryside and live the life you want for a bit. Sit and read, doze, draw, paint, watch TV, or talk to yourself, whatever floats your boat. Go for a walk, get lost in your thoughts, sit on a cliff and watch the waves crash, sit in a field and make daisy chains or rip the grass up or do whatever it is you need to do to rid yourself of the overwhwlming stress and exhaustion you seem to be feeling. Just be free of it all for a while. And then, when you're calmer, and feeling relaxed enough, or bored of being alone with your thoughts, go home, greet the cats, and start again. But start small. One thing at a time, so you don't overload. Maybe you should try and get a sicknote from your Dr so you can do this. You don't want to get pushed to the point of a nervous breakdown or exhaustion, or the development of a gastric ulcer, because of stress. Calm down, chill out, and get away if you can. Hope you feel better soon.

Life can be a real drag at times but we just have to make the best of it!
I usually want to run away when things are out of control in my life. But that's not going to help a thing because the problems are still going to be there when I get back, maybe even worse then when I left!

You just have to stay in the ring and keep punching away at things in your life until you eventually overcome them or come to some place in your life where you are more on top of the situations that spring up in ones life.
It's no good to check out before your time either because that's not going to solve anything. Plus people that really, really love you will miss you and there willl be a void in their lives because you aren't there!

We were born into this world for a reason and I really thing it's a positive one. You never know who's day you might make when you step outside of yourself and reach out to someone in need!

I think if we just look at the positive things in life, this will help us to live our lives to the fullest.

You need to find a passion for living like Che did. Did you know he had the chance to be a doctor and live a safe, non-consequential existence? He chose to be a revolutionary, fighting against imperialism. Get to know what type of man he was before you call him names. He was not a perfect man, but he lived his life with passion and dedication to a cause he believed in. Maybe you need to make a trek cross country to find yourself. Look at "Motorcycle Diaries" to see how Che found his true calling while trekking across South America.

If everyone was truly HONEST, of course....

But in the scheme of life, it passes, everything just passes..

Plus, where would a person run to? It may be worse then what the situation is now - - who knows.? ? ?

The only problem is 'WE TAKE OURSELVES WITH US"

good luck
