To the human eye, this appears exactly like the two single lines used for each of the three 'Guard Bars' which frame the full length code. It is in this fashion that every standard bar code contains the 'mark of the beast': 666.

I've been hearing variations on this since the late 80s- suppposedly we were all be have madatory barcode tattoos by 1991.
While I wouldn't put it past Bush, they'll wait for some way to blame it on the 'liberals.'
