How long were you in pain when/if you've had a miscarriage???
How was the pain?
my bleeding was like a light period around the time my period was due and the cramping was minor! Didn't need any meds!!
My serum test was positive Thurs. and my HPT yesterday and today were neg.

I'm not sure how far I was but when I had the serum was drawn, the dr said that it was barely positive meaning that I was newly pregnant.
The doctor didn't tell me I was having a miscarriage. He just said that they were going to do a series of test to test my hcg level

I don't know about miscarriages that early, I was 16 weeks and actually had to give birth, it hurts just as bad then as when they're full term. Sorry for your loss, I know how hard that is.

I have had 3 miscarriages. If the dr hasn't told you you've miscarried, possibly what you experienced may have been implantation bleeding. It is possible to cramp when that happens. A possible reason the HPT's were neg. is because you're not far enough along to register positive. The serum test is much more sensitive. I hope your results are what you're hoping for. Good luck!

much of this answer depends on how far along you are when you miscarry. Very early in a pregnancy you may not even notice anything is wrong. The farther along you get the more noticeable the pain/bleeding will be. It also depends on each person. What you feel is pain may not even register as a twinge for me or vise versa.

I went in for my 16 week appointment and my doc couldn't find a heartbeat. He did an ultrasound and found that I miscarried. I had a D&C three days later to remove the remaining tissues. No pain, no bleeding.

My pain was severe, and it lasted several hours. The bleeding was heavy. It is possible to remain pregnant and have periods.

Depends on how far along you are. The farther along you are the more pain you will experience.
I hope everything turns out okay!

i dont like to say this but although your pregnancy has ended you may still not have lost the embryo,as you dont seem to have lost anything yet, your embryo is not embeded but may still within your uterus ,how many weeks pregnant were you.
