I graduated college in May and started my current job in June as a staff accountant, but i have interned here since June 2004. The problem is that this job has no room for advancement and no tuition reimbursement. I want to go back to school for my MBA in either the summer or next fall. I was originally planning to start looking for a new job June 07, but I have seen some good opportunities lately. Do you think it looks bad if i leave my current job within the next month or so?

Thanks for your advice, Let me know if you need more info

It depends if you are leaving your job to go onto a better one. If you plan on staying at the new job for a while then I would go ahead and switch because it won't really matter. Just tell your prospective employer that you were really eager to work for their company!

why don't you go to some online job searcher like monster.com. careerbuilder, check around 1st before you leave that job if you find better company give a 2 week notice to that job before you you go for the new one just in case things don't fall through like the way you wanted. good luck

It doesn't look bad if you get a great new job.
