First of all you need to seriously have a conversation with your husband! Sit him down make him look you in the eyes and tell him this is hurting you and the children.Tell him the kids will remember this.also he needs to balance out his life.spend equal amounts with the people and things he loves. This all depends is he good in other ways? Do you get along is counseling an option if he doesnt want to give up the dog obsession? Finally you will have to make a decision if this is a satisfactory lifestyle for you and your children. If not you need to move on.

Just accept the fact that he is a man who loves to spend time with his dogs. Remember that his dogs show complete loyalty and love to their master. They are unwavering in that regard. It is a shame that people are not the same. Maybe if you took an interest in the dogs and spent time with him and the dogs you would understand why he enjoys being with them more than people. They are better than the majority of humans.

Tell him, not us. Not much we can do. Are you happy with it? If so, shut up and fix dinner. If not tell him.
