Horoscopes are based on Barnum statements, which are clever statements that sound as if they are specific and unique, but are in fact very ambiguous and can be interpreted in a multitude of ways, so there are bound to be people out there who THINK they have had a true horoscope. I did an experiment once, I signed up for a free on-line horoscope service and kept them for a year. Then one day when I had nothing better to do, I went over them and picked out all the ambiguity, repetition and weasle-words. There was not a lot left, but when stripped down to specifics, not one prediction had been realised. They missed major events like the break up of a relationship, a promotion at work, and the diagnosis of a serious illness.

They are so broad that sometimes they do come true. But not always. I also think that if you really want to believe in them then they can come true. It's just funny how people only want to beleive the good stuff, and the bad they ignore.

Occasionally, but recently they've been a bit behind , so i think maybe not ,because I'm kinda reading into them what i want to believe. Is that vague enough to be a good horoscope prediction?

they are so vague they are bound to come true occasionally

also, we like patterns & positives, so we easily forget the (>50% of) times it doesn't come true

don't be a slave to superstition - make your own truth!
