the only reason i can think is that some entertainers like the "thug " mentality and persona that the "ugly rapper" has w/ the public eye. Think about it..i don't know if you have seen the t.v.show Flava of Love; but that is one of the ugliest old school rappers to walk the face of this earth and yet he is paid. Viewers actually tune in to watch that crap. But anyways, each to his own!

Money talks and bullsh*t walks.. how do you think most of these singers make it? not just ugly rappers, but ugly producers etc, its the way it goes, in the rap biz almost everybody uses everybody, don't they? not that these singers don't have the talent, but in order to climb higher and be in the limelight..what better way of getting exposure than with the most famous people of the genre

Number 1 they are on a whole different level, you have to stay within your status when it comes to celebrity relationships, I think guys still want that pretty popular girl who is on top of their game at that current time. As far as the girl goes, good girl like bad guys in this case pretty girls like ugly guys(but only the rich ones).

looks aren't everything
maybe these singers can really relate to the rappers and that attracts them
Plus, women singers have to be pretty, where as rappers don't.... it's just how the spotlight works

i dunno, i think 50 cent's pretty cute. jkwon and chingy are definitely scraping the bottom of the barrel though.
