I know the WB and UPN merged but since this happened I have not been able to get the channel using my cable provider. Anyone else had this problem and fixed it? I want to watch some of the stations season premieres but cannot. I called the cable company and they basically just said this is happening in many places. They have provided us with some crappy local channel until and if it ever comes back. It SUCKS!

I just thought I would let those of you in the same situation know this little update. After getting the runaround from my cable company. Finally someone said that the programming started this month and some areas , in others it will start next month and some areas will never get it. Hows that for information...man cable companies suck!

I have DirecTV.
We had the WB.
When it became the CW, the same station that the WB was on posted a message saying that due to the change in channels, DTV is not able to broadcast this network.
Who knows why. Maybe it has to do with laws, licensing, contracts.
What sucks is that WB was considered local, as was UPN, but now I don't have either on of those or the CW.
So, I patiently wait and see what is going to happen.
I have tomorrow off, so I might even call DTV and find out what is going on.
Ok, so I called today.
They told me that it will not be available in my area.
I live in a rather large city in NW Ohio.
Are they smokin or something?
Plus, I heard it is only 6 shows and only has a short time slot that it is even on each day of the week.
What a p.o.s.

I had this problem before the merge (couldn't watch any WB shows) but I later found out that our local CBS station was showing them around 1am on the weekends. You might want to check the schedule of your local stations & see if any of them might be doing this.

Ah... when I first saw this question, I thought you were asking if anyone UNDERSTOOD or ENJOYED (got) the the shows on the WB !!

I don't... I guess it's my age and background.

Sadly, we have the merged network CW available on our cable system.

Sorry to hear your provider isn't carrying it for you.
