Yes. But only in large amounts. Both links are very good in telling you exactly what is going on.

I believe that it is cyanide in apple seeds.
However you are not able to consume enough apple seeds by eating apples to generate a harmful dose.
I eat the seeds all the time.
I don't think I would try anything like eating handfuls of seeds though.

Yeah a little bit, but the amount is so small that you won't be able to get a lethal dose in the amount you eat.

i shouldnt think they are too bad or they wouldnt be allowed to sell them knowing that people would eat them, spose its like selling bottles of rat poison to drink. To be sure dont eat them !

I have not heard of that. I have eaten some in the past and I have never gotten sick.
