Well first of all Good question :) i bought the girls my heart and soul for the holidays. By being there for them on the holidays is good enough. Thats what i got for them. Hope this works.

Why buy things for your friends when you go on holiday?
If they want something from the country you went to on holiday let them go there themselves and get it !!!!!!

I usually buy the girls things like lotions, bath salts candles, etc. For the guys I get things with their favorite sports teams. Hope this helps.

Nothing holidays are for spending money on yourself. if they are true friends they won't expect anything.

Absolutely nothing. If they're lucky, they get a postcard. Your friends are not going to stop to being your friends just because you didn't get them a present. If they do, then you're better off without them.

We primarily sent postcards, but there are a few that truly appreciate being thought of and for them we got...
Deck of Elvis playing cards (gag gift)
Baseball hats
Shot glasses

Usually small, cheapish items like hemp-flavoured lollipops, bottles of wine, miniatures of local spirits, chocolates, keyrings, T-shirts, etc.
