Everyone is different. It could be colostrum. Don't worry about it. My friend was lactating at 6 month pregnant. It just has to do with your hormones levels. To help with the pain, use a warm compress, wear a support bra, use the nipple cream. It helps! Putting cabbage leaves on your breasts is said to help, too, although I've never tried it. Be sure to call your OB if you get worried. He'll give you the best advise.

Maybe she means that she is expecting her period but suspects she may be pregnant.Maybe she has a reason to think she is so thats why shes saying "2 more days until" and when her nipple got sore she got even more concerned. So she decided to see if nipple soreness and discharge is a symptom of pregnancy. But anyways, if you are pregnant I think it is too soon to be getting discharge. However, the first clue for most girls that they are expecting is their breasts get swollen and hurt like hell. It's usually not just a nipple that is sore though. Recently, (and I don't mean to scare you) I read a plea from a girl who urged everyone who notices a soreness or "spot" on their nipples to go get it checked out. One of her relatives had that and ignored it (she was in her 20's) but it turned out to be breast cancer. Yours is probably not cancer. I'm sure you're fine. Still, it wouldn't hurt to get it checked out. While you are at the MD''s office, go ahead and get a pregnancy test.

You are probably about 20 weeks. My guess, This is normal Your body is just getting used to having a baby in it. Your breasts will go threw many changes. This is very normal. If you are extra concerned about the discharge then you can buy pads to eliminate the chances of having an embarrassing moment. But if you just wear a taught bra you should be OK. Congratulations.

When you're pregnant, the milk ducts in your breasts start preparing to have milk in them and sometimes the milk will start coming before you actually have a baby. It sounds weird, but massaging your breasts will actually help break up any hard spots where your milk ducts might be irritated. Sometimes one breast will produce more milk then the other one, so one of them might be more irritated. You should call your OB and ask too! Good luck!

Your hormones have triggered the production and release of Colostrum. perfectly normal, that is also a sign that breast feeding will be easier. Congrats of the baby.

just curious, but are you pregnant, as I just saw this question from you in the TTC section, saying you are expecting your period in two days, and it was posted like 4 minutes before this one. If your NOT pregnant, then you want to get this checked out by a doctor.
