what is the cheapest place to live in eastern Europe?(in USD)

Wow, so many possibilities. As in the United states, the bigger the city, the higher the cost of living. There are many smaller cities 30-75,000 people that will have wonderful culture and reasonable COL. I would look at the following countries, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria. Like I said before the bigger the city the higher the cost, so Prague is probably not a good option. It is definately cheaper than most of the US, but you can get much more bang for your buck in Plzen or Olomouc in Czech Republic.

Romania or Bulgaria , both very cheap and beautiful countries. Poland is also up there in cheap world , too many to choose from.
