I would say you are lucky indeed; see, at least you get a happy, healthy sleep period. Unlike myself where I sleep about 1/2 the amount required thanks to my noisy "Mr EarthQuake" neighbour and his construction crew.
I remember when I was younger and thought my life was so empty that I only found solace and happiness when unconsciously asleep. Little did I know that sleep was a luxury I wasn't allowed to have once I moved out of the parents' house and into an apartment.
So these days, I am not happy myself very often. When I am not in the "hell" also known as a job, I live in the "hell" on my apartment, surrounded by young and loud idiot imbecile neighbours who enjoy to make construction at any time of the day & night.
At last count, I was over the 600 000 hours of sleep missed. Wonder when I'll ever find the time (and especially the SPACE) to catch up on that.
Thanks to my neighbours, I lack sleep and envy folks like you who actually have nice, happy, healthy sleep periods...
Cheers

Hey, I'm on the same boat. Sleep rolls trouble off our minds and calms the soul like nothing else. I always thought that no matter what, I'd still have my bed at the end of the day, and the world does come to a stop for me when I sleep in it.

Unlike Guardian S I'm at the opposite end. When I sleep I sleep hard for 5 or 6 hours, then I'm wide awake for another 18 hours or so.

I kind of have to agree with you there. The only other activity that I enjoy is getting on the computer and answering questions. Once I've done my limit for the day then I just kind of mope around. I think that we both need to get a life.

I would tell you to go take a nap- Everyone has the right to be happy. Perhaps you will dream of some things that will add joy to your life and then go out and do them.

I would recommend that you see a doctor...sounds like you may be depressed. If you don't want to see a doctor, try and cultivate a hobby, exercise, etc and see if that helps.

I'd say maybe you're depressed. You should see a doctor about that; drugs and therapy help lots of people.
