What do you mean you did your own paperwork at the divorce? Unless you are a lawyer, or it was an uncontested divorce, you made a HUGE mistake, that I think is now coming home to roost. Dear, you need an attorney plain and simple, otherwise you can kiss any back child support good by. You might have to do that anyway, but your chances of getting it are FAR better if you have legal representation.

If there is a court order in place for the child support, then you can go to the county clerks office and pick up forms to file contempt. I think it's $25 dollars to file the papers. I'm in California.

the first thing to do is to report it to the friend of the court they will notify him and you will receive a court date and he will have to tell the judge why he isn't paying then he will have two options to pay up or go to jail. secondly is the support order coming out of his payroll check if not you have it payroll deducted.
