When a good running Quarterback gets
sacked, blame the Off line - not Him.
It seems everybody loves a winner,
but when you lose, you lose alone.

Ok not that I’m a huge Vick fan, but he’s not the worst QB in the History of the NFL. Remember this Ryan Leaf had 4 different offensive coordinators and 2 different coaches in his 4 years at San Diego, plus they traded all their players to move up one spot in the draft to take him and the killer of the whole this is he had nobody to throw too. So to badmouth Ryan Leaf as a bad QB no, a head case hell yea. The worse QB in the NFL was Adrian Burk a two time pro bowler who never averaged more then 100 yards a game and throw about 1 INT a game 89 INTS to 82 games (oh and only 61 TD)

Yeah, how dare you try to take that title away from Ryan Leaf! Truth is, Vick has never been a good passer, as a Falcons fan you know that, but the problem last night was the O-line. Also, its hard to get up for a game when you know that everyone in the country is rooting against you. One bad game does not make a bad quarterback. But if you really want to jump the gun on this one then fine I'll play along. The Falcons are doomed! doooomed! doomed! They're doooooooomed!

Doomed.

It is not the fault of the QB that he gets sacked; it's the fault of the offensive line. Michael Vick is an awesome QB.

Now if you were talking about Ryan Leaf as the worst QB, then I agree with you (coming from a Charger fan).

Vick has nothing to do with getting sacked 5 times, that's the O-lines fault. I think he is overrated as a QB. He has great speed, however, he's just not a premier quarterback. They should put in Schaub in at QB. Maybe put Vick in at WR or DB.

Saints did a great job of taking away Vicks legs and making him play QB. Past his running ability last night showed that Vick is a below average QB. Have said it all along...he's a gifted RB trying to play QB

Why do people blame sacks on the QB? It was the O-Line's fault. Vick isn't a good passer and he's in a hole against defenses that play him in the run because he can't pass. Now I agree that he's among the worst at playing QB right now...but at playing football...he's not too shabby.

He actually had alot of time in the pocket on most passes. I'd say most of those sacks were coverage sacks as he had no one to pass to and the NO DBs were all over the Recievers. Even when he made a pass it was broken up pretty consistenly.

And out of the sacks that weren't coverage sacks, how many of them did Vick actually run in to? I'd say pretty much all of them. This wasn't like when Carr was sacked before he even dropped back 20 odd times a game, it was just a lack of options.

Vick is a decent QB. Getting sacked is not his fault. If any QB can dodge a sack it is Vick. Put the immobile Peyton, or Bledso in there and you are looking at 10 sacks.

I think Vick is a lousy qb, but he's a long way from the worst ever. You don't even have to go to the past, just think Kerry Collins and Aaron Brooks.

Kordell Stewart is the worst ever, if the Steelers had a mediocre QB instead of him they would have reached at least 3 more Superbowls and would hava another Championship.
Stewart had a great defense, offensive line, and a hall of fame running back in his prime ( Jerome Bettis), and hall of fame coach who trusted him, Bill Cowher.

Vick is just overhyped, and has much better martketing than talent, but he is not even the worst starting QB in the league right now.
