It doesn't matter if you are popular or not. What matters is if the people you hang around like you for who you are, not who they think you are. It doesn't matter how much money you have, or even what you look like; what matters is how you are as a person. If you are a kind, good person then you will have as many friends as you possibly need.

Just don't do it by spreading your legs for the boys. This is how some of the girls get popular. Just be yourself. Become outgoing and talk to people. You can't get popular if people don't know who you are. So get out there and get to know people, talk and get aquainted with your classmates.

it depends what kind of popular you want to be
i'll just name a few here
1) easiest way to be popular is to be a slu*. just fark any guy and you'll be popular in no time
2) the hot girl. well, you need to have the looks, the body and the attitude. not to mention lots of nice designer clothes
3) the cute girl. maybe you can be like those japanese style kawaii girls? i like that alot...
4) top student in school = nerd = study hard
and etc

Why dont you just concentrate on your work because that is the only thing that is going to get you ahead in live, not your popularity.
After high school, that stuff doesnt matter.
