Why does it need 2 operating systems on it? Get rid of windows 98, your hard drive is too small for them both. You need a larger hard drive, your hard drive is choking onits own memory because of it, and installing more mem wouldnt hurt, and you didnt say how much there was in the first place. Or how fast your prcessor is

#4 Try DeFragging it

Unfortunatly, someone saw you coming! If you are use to the newer systems, you wont get that old piece of junk to run anywhere near the speed of a newer PC! I hope you didnt pay over 40 bucks for it! You can usually pick these up at garage sales for 50 cents!

how fast is it? how much memory does it have?
you can always install a faster processor, and/or add more RAM memory
it would help if you give us more tech info on that computer

defrag the hard drive. If possible you can add more RAM for a reasonable price
