i know how to copy and paste, but thats not what i am looking for. i am looking to save as an excel spread sheet. is it possible?

Well, if you copy it from Yahoo Yellow Pages and Paste it in Excel, you can save it as an Excel spreadsheet.

Be sure to Paste Special and choose Text or Unicode Text. This takes the formatting from the Internet out.

It seems it would be tedious to paste in information and then arrange it with names in their own column and phones and addresses, etc. all with their own column.

I'm thinking you may want to copy and paste a page into a sheet and then record a macro that re-arranges the data and then you could replay the macro for each sheet pasted in. Be sure you choose relative when you record and then start the macro in the appropriate cell. That way you can add page after page into the same Excel file.

Right click in the area where you want to copy, click 'export to MS Excel'
