I watched it and thought it was good. I think it's a bit too much like X-Men, but it did look interesting enough that I'll watch more. Did you like it?

I watched and as a devout follower of the super hero genre, I was suitably impressed with the first outing into prime time. They are obviously trying to reach a larger audience and the intrigue of the show will catch on with even non sci-fi, super hero types. Yes the flying scene seemed fake, but when you're just learning how to fly... how is it suppose to be done? Keep in mind it is just the first show and sometimes it takes them a few shows to get things together. It is very rare that a show is a huge hit from the first episode.

Not impressed. I'm a huge comics fan, and I was looking forward to this. But they seemed intent on dumbing down alot of the basic premises of "superbeings in the real world" with this first episode. Typical formulaic prime-time TV. The blonde girls were incredibly bad actresses, even for NBC. I felt like I was watching one of those absurd "10.5" or "Category 6" disaster movies, only at least those movies tried to build up to the climax. Extremely predictable until the last five minutes.
Another thing - everyone was stupid. If you had superpowers, would you go around trying to convince everyone? If so, wouldn't you be ready to demonstrate? So every character went through that same song and dance. That was the first 30 minutes of the show.
However, the second episode seemed like it was gonna mix things up abit, so I'm not totally turned off.

Pretty good - Not amazing like Grey's Anatomy, but once the cast gets together and clicks, I think it'll get better. The scene where the two brothers were flying in circles seemed really fake, though. And the show obviously doesn't have a big budget, but I'll be watching next week.

I rather enjoyed it. For those that missed it last night NBC is airing it again tonight. I am sure once all the story lines get explained it will be a nice addition to NBC's line up!!!

Yes, enjoyed it...
I think Studio 60 is a better bet for NBC
It will be interesting to see where they take Heros and if it makes it.
I really enjoy Hayden Panettiere as an actress. She played the cheerleader that couldn't be harmed.
For such a young little thing she is a really good actress with a HUGE resume!

Yes.
I think it is a very interesting premise, the pilot story-line was working for me, and I like the "comic book-come-to-life" overall.
The Cheerleader is a real cupcake, and the Japanese guy made me smile with his desire to break out of his cultural mode...
I just hope they don't go too far. "Surface" last season started VERY nicely, but fell apart with some rather cheesy effects and a rather weak ending
