Yes a man can have a freind that is female with no strings attached. It is difficult (esp. if she is cute) but can be done. As a married man, that works at a hospital whose staff is 80% women, most of the gals here I am friends with and I do not have any hidden agenda to develop anything more than friendship.

Your next question should be: What's the difference between love and lust?
(What's a "Plutonic" relationship? You mean what the people on Pluto have? Actually, I agree with the idea that a man and woman can have a PLATONIC relationship, and a thought connected to sexuality within such relationships does not "prove" there is some hidden agenda.)

No. A man can have a girl as a friend, and its up to the person to maintain that friendship, there has been times (in my life anyway) that a really close friend who is a girl appeared more than a friend, and being naive as I am, I told how her I felt and it resulted in straining current relationships, however weeks/months down the line all is well that ends well. So the moral is, you can Have a friend in the form of a girl, however it doesnt take time till you develop some sort of feeling that sees her as more than a friend.

You know one can say that a man and a woman are "just friends" but the truth about it is that there is always some level of attraction between from one of the parties involved. It is possible to control these feelings and make the friendship work if things shouldn't go any further.

That is a good question. I was friends with this guy and he was involved in a serious accident and we became really close. I think it was more emotional on my part, but eventually we slept together and did so pretty regularly, we spent alot of time together, but he still kept saying that I was his best friend. I couldn't seperate the two. He eventually married someone else and now we hardly talk to each other. Before his marriage, after I started seeing someone else, he would always make comments like, see you gave up on me too soon and various similar kind of comments. I can't figure it out.

because Paganism is really worry-free. you do not somewhat ought to do something yet you could fool your self into believing that you're some type of non secular being. The Judeo/Christian depending religions require genuine action on your existence. the ten Commandments is a sturdy celebration of this. there's a conception in a God, the all effectual moral choose of guy's habit. it isn't worry-free to somewhat stay existence through those absolute moral imperatives. it really is way extra straightforward to participate in some silliness or different somewhat in case you could cover behind it an convince others that you're one way or the different non secular somewhat than self-dependent. the most purpose of your existence is your thoughts. A very interesting question!
My answer 10 years ago: Definitely yes!
My answer 5 years ago: Yes, if only your partner would understand how harmless this whole friendship is...
My answer now: If your life gets too boring and your mind gets paralysed by your every-day routine, start a friendship like that and either your partner's jealousy or new, freshly developed feelings of one of the 2 friends will soon enough add some spice to your life!

Gay people probably can. Even when they don't fancy each other I still think that it isn't like being with somebody of the same sex. Older people, when the sex urge as waned are more likely to be able to maintain a friendship. Feminism and equality, has had a strange impact on the younger generation, because you often here them describe someone of the opposite sex as, "just good friends". With younger people, I still think that there must be a sexual element. Otherwise, it doesn't make sense.

Yes, you can have just friends of the opposite sex. It is society in general that always puts a hidden agenda on any relationship of opposites that hasn't got sex in it. Many people have tiny minds and can't accept this.
