Looking to do some things with my car, as described above.
I want to fit a full induction kit and stainless exhaust system, possibly a fast-road cam, but was wondering what effect this will have on the mapping of the ECU, and therefore, whether to have it all done and the engine chipped at the same time, or if I can do it a bit at a time?

See, the problem here is that some blokes seem to miss the point - if I wanted a "Fast & Furious" style clown car, I would get one. I quite like driving a fairly innocuous-looking car that does a whole lot more than you'd expect. Even though it's only a 2-litre Focus, you'd be suprised just how rapid it is, handles pretty well too. I can beat my mate across Milton Keynes nine times out of 10 in his MR2. Guess that just goes to show it's more about what you are capable of with the tools at your disposal, rather than how big the engine is, or how many cylinders.
So, all you V8 ****-pullers, go ahead and mock - I don't need a massive penis extension, I have the skills to pay the bills, whereas you just rely soley on brute force.
Just want to tweak the power delivery and smooth the engine out a bit, not stick huge spoilers and spinners and under-slung lighting on a $hitty little Corsa.
