I don't know - it is funny because when I went to college for theatre, I was constantly harassed because of my more conservative beliefs. I was told I could not possibly be an artist since I was so closed-minded.......funny - they SAY they are open-minded unless you say you are a conservative. Then the hate begins.....it really is a shame.

Actually, I've known a few righties who are snotty and self-righteous. But I remember knowing only one lefty who was like that. You might want to double check your stereotypes. Otherwise, you'll miss out on meeting a lot of great people.

Edit: Oops, my mistake. I thought you meant lefties as in "left-handed". I forgot to check the section this was posted in. In that case, I say you should ignore that stereotype when it comes to meeting people in real life. I've known a few people with extreme point of views and they all seemed like good, moral people to me. And as far as politicians are concerned, keep doing your research and voting. That's probably the only thing you can do about your frustration.

I'm assuming you mean political views and not the person whom using primarily their left hands.

Well each person has an opinion and I only believe the people should have a voice if they "flex their political choice" meaning vote!

Most folks are just sheep and those "others" that take the time to follow "their agendas" in the political world, all tend to be a bit "full of themselves". Yet not anymore more than a religious zealot.

All about the "converting or changing" your mindset, to their team. No matter which political party they associate themselves in.

I firmly believe (practice by voting) in the "best" person for the job, not the best "group".

Best wishes. Information is power when used for the higher good, and its hard work to determine "what" is best for "us" We the people. Since many can't see past the printed text and the ripple effect of the riders of those documents can destroy that original one.

Wow - I have a few lefty haters who love to post crap on whatever question I ask. They are funny.
They accuse ME of being what THEY ARE!

Just love the whole "spell check" thing. They always find another issue to deflect from the question don't they?!

Have a great day!

You probably find them that way because intelligence frightens you and unable produce a counter argument.

That said some left wing people are exactly that, most aren't.

Some right wing people make war on poor non-white people, most don't.

Some Yahoo question posters' put questions here just to get other people to agree with them or to cause insult, most don't.

This question shows that you, too, are capable of acting snotty and self righteous...if that is what you meant by rigtious.

I'm not a Liberal but I know some and work with some and I don't find them any more or less self-righteous than I find conservatives or religious nuts.

And you'll be more convincing if you bother to either learn to spell or learn to edit what you type before you post it.

I'm guessing you hate "h" as much as you hate them. But judging by the fact that it's in the beginning of the sentence, I'll say you're just too busy having another bitchfit to press spellcheck.

Ciao, the Dark Angel. Let your day brighten up, as well as your attitude. Especially your attitude.

They are the intelligentsia, they think they are smarter than everyone else so even when their ideas fail miserably they still think they just needed another 20, 30 50 billion to make it work. Most of them have no idea of what it is like in the real world.

they believe they are better informed than the rest of us. if you get in to it with them you soon realise they spout the same old crap over and over again and they just want to impose there views on the rest of us.
