No, that is not true. Plus when that rumor was in vented it was talking about playing the record and then you played it backwards, and supposedly it would deliever a satanic message.
This was also said to be true of using a Boston as well as a Kiss Album

there was a group of religious people in the late 70's that tried to convince people that playing rock music backwards had satanic messages. it is not true, just people with to much time on there hands

When I was a teen, I heard of the same claim, so, being the young, foolish lad I was back then, I put the album on my direct drive turntable, played it backwards, and heard something like.. "satan, my sweet satan" at one point in the tune.
