Silly question, but isn't it ironic that my period always seems to start RIGHT when I'm about to take a pregnancy test? It's happened at least four times already. Just wondering if anyone else has had this happen to them. Life is just filled with 'perfect timing' moments!

I am so glad you posted that...I thought I was the only one who had that bitter taste of Irony!!! I'm glad to see it hasn't lessened your sense of humor any...Murphy's $@$$# Law Right!!!!! LOL
It does seem that way..... I think I'm to the point I'm not going to test myself unless my water breaks!!!! We are suffering secondary infertility....We had our son in '99 and wanted two boys close in age but ....I guess that just wasn't meant to be.....I keep telling myself I'm not gonna test this time I'm not going to fall into that trap...But I always do and Poof Like you stated Here comes my little friend (And we are ALL so Happy to see HIM) Thank you for letting me know I'm not alone ....and I wish you the best of luck!!! May you soon be hearing the pitter-patter of little feet!!!!!

Mine always seemed to start the DAY I took the test, so if I tested in the morning, my period would come early afternoon. Obviously the stress of thinking about it held it off, and then finding out the results brought it on lol .. but yes, it is really funny how this seems to happen!

This has happened to me twice too! Once right before I tested and once right after! It is weird how life is funny like that. I think the poster that said it has to do with stress is right. We've tested and know the outcome - perfect time for our period to start. We seem to have a lot in common! Take care! :)

If my period is late and I take a HPT, then I will definately start my period the same day or the next day. I have always considered it my way of knowing that something was happening with my body. I guess deep down I knew it was my period but was hoping that it was pregnancy symptoms. Good Luck.

No, mine's always comes like the day after I get the disappointing test results back. I'd rather get the period before I get a chance to test than to get my hopes up.

At least you didn't waste them...Mine always comes after I take the test (like within an hour). That can get expensive!!!!

I always take the test in the morn and then that night my period comes. so of course i wasted my money. i even try waiting longer before taking the test but it still happens.........CREEPY! LOL

Usually when I wear new, white underwear is when I'll start.
For awhile it seemed I started on every.single.holiday.
Halloween? Cant wear that costume, im bloated!
Thanksgiving? Grab the playtex!
Christmas day? find an open store!

I wish I was as lucky as you...Mine came twice within 2 hours AFTER taking the test. What a way to waste money, huh?

probably due to the stress level...that's y it gets delayed. it's happend to me once out of the 3 times i've taken a pregnancy test.
