will there ever be a boy born who can swim faster than a shark?

No. One of the reason that the shark moves so fast is because of it's size and the surface area of the tail that drives movement. No human could outswim a shark. Ever. Unless the shark was dead.

Unlikely. But comfort yourself with this thought.

Sharks are so well evolved to fill their evolutionary niche that if the climate were to change suddenly, it would be impossible for them to adapt in time as they don't produce a wide enough variety of alternate characteristics, not needing to in their present atuned state.

So they'd die out faster than other species.

Feel better now?

If genetic cloning were available to create a human using DNA from sharks then possibly but I highly doubt it as sharks have been around a lot longer than humans have and they have had time to evolve and adapt to their surroundings where we are still developing and not addapting as well as some creatures.

It's very unlikely, some sharks can swim up to 35mph and that's very fast. If you think you can swim that fast, or know someone who does, get signed up for the next Olympics.

No. Sharks have evolved in the water for millions of years.

It's nature over nurture on this one.
