YES!!!
I just love the time of year, with dry leaves drifting around on chilly nights, the darkness, bonfires, fireworks, children in costumes, all the excitement in the air.
I love it!

Absolutely, YES YES YES!!!!! I think the only thing evil about Halloween is what fundies falsely put into it. Halloween, is no more evil that Christmas or Easter. I just wish people would open their eyes to this foolishness. Christians are the ones that started the whole wearing of mask to hide from the evil spirits. Why do Christians obsess about evil so much? Everything is evil. I think they need to read the new testament again and again to really live by Jesus' teachings. Geesh

I like halloween. Some believe that it is the devils holiday but you don't have to treat it like that. Somtimes on halloween i go to this church that puts on a play type thing called the judgment house. Its supposed to bring people to the Lord. As far as celebrating it i don't. I just celebrate the fall by going to harvest festivals and other fun things.

If you really know the origins of this holiday, i don't see how anyone can celebrate this holiday. The wearing of mask is so you can hide from the day spirits that are trying to do you harm. And there are all sorts of reasons for the traditions of Halloween. I'm sorry but i just don't want my daughter to have anything to do with that sort of thing.

I like the old fall festival type of halloween. Lots of colorful trees, apple juice, pumpkins and pies, lots of hay around. Just a general celebration. Not this bloody gore stuff everyone's into now-a-days. Trick or Treat? Give me a treat or I'm going to rob you or vandalize? Doesn't sound so festive to me.

I don't care for it very much. I find that it disrespects the dead, and places strange, unnatural thoughts of death into the impressionable minds of our youth.

Why not have a day that celebrates "the meaning of life," which so many people on Yahoo Answers seem to inquire about, rather than celebrate something as pointless, grotesque, and bizarre as Halloween?

All Hallows Eve to some...when the veil is thinnest between the physical and spiritual world. Nothing wicked about it by the way. The real wickedness are the lies the non-pagans tell. You know the modern green faced, crooked nosed, pointy hat witch you see at Halloween? This is a depiction of Welsh midwives (who wore black pointed hats, who were revered before Christianity)...they were tortured and brutalized by the "church", they broke their noses and hands...disfigured them so badly they became frightening to the common folk. So, honor the herbal, wise women and celebrate like a Pagan...enjoy a little gentle love and enlightenment.

I love Halloween. Going to friends parties and dressing my little boy up and seeing his excitement. But I've always loved it since I was little.
