Well, you most likely have a yest infection, but here are some more symptoms that you can see if you have along with the itching. Anymore Q's feel free to email me...
Symptoms
The symptoms of vaginal yeast infection include:
Vaginal itching that is often severe.
Vaginal discharge that is usually white, curdlike, and odorless.
Red, irritated skin around the opening to the vagina (labia).
Pain while urinating when urine touches irritated skin.
Pain in the vagina during sexual intercourse.
Symptoms of a vaginal yeast infection are more likely to occur during the week before a menstrual period.
There are other conditions with similar symptoms, such as bacterial vaginosis or a sexually transmitted disease. Itching and redness of the vulva can also be caused by a reaction to vaginal products such as soap, bath oils, spermicidal jelly, or douches. If you are unfamiliar with your symptoms, see your health professional for an accurate diagnosis.
Also, don't self treat a yeast infection if you think you have one. You need to go to the doctor, it may be expencive, but it can be dangerous treating and diagnosing your yeast infection. Here's more info...
Do not self-treat a vaginal yeast infection if you:
Are pregnant.
Are not sure your symptoms are caused by a vaginal yeast infection. In one study, only 1 out of 3 women who had self-diagnosed a simple vaginal yeast infection actually had one.3 If you have never been diagnosed with a vaginal yeast infection, see your health professional.
Have been exposed to a sexually transmitted disease (STD), which would require a medical examination.
Are having a recurrent infection.
Introduction
This information will help you understand your choices, whether you share in the decision-making process or rely on your health professional's recommendation.
Key points in making your decision
Consider the following when making your decision about self-diagnosing and self-treating an apparent vaginal yeast infection:
If you have mild symptoms, you may want to wait and see if they go away on their own. A mild vaginal yeast infection may correct itself without treatment.
About 2 in 3 women who think they have a simple yeast infection don't.1 If you misdiagnose your condition, you could be delaying diagnosis of a more serious medical condition, such as a sexually transmitted disease (STD), or a serious underlying condition, such as diabetes or HIV infection.
If you are not pregnant and you are certain that your symptoms are caused by a vaginal yeast infection, you can self-treat with a nonprescription antifungal vaginal medication.
If you are pregnant, first see your health professional before treating vaginal symptoms. A vaginal yeast infection can be safely treated during pregnancy with vaginal (not oral) medication.
When using an antifungal cream or suppository, you cannot trust a condom or diaphragm for birth control. Many of the vaginal creams and suppositories used to treat yeast infections are oil-based, which can weaken rubber (latex).
When To Call a Doctor
Use the following guidelines for seeking medical care when you have vaginal symptoms.
Call your health professional immediately if you:
Develop lower abdominal pain and a fever higher than 101 °F(38.33 °C) along with a vaginal discharge. This may indicate pelvic inflammatory disease (PID).
Are pregnant and have symptoms of a vaginal infection or a urinary tract infection (UTI).
Call your health professional for an appointment within 1 week if you:
Develop an unusual vaginal discharge, and this is the first time you have had an infection that might be a vaginal yeast infection.
Have unusual vaginal itching.
Have pain during sex or urination.
Develop any other symptoms that may indicate a vaginal infection.
Continue to have symptoms despite home treatment with a nonprescription medication.
Have symptoms return within 2 months, and you have not been taking antibiotics.
Good Luck!!!

Are you young enough that you under parents insurance or maybe you can go to a free clinic in your area. They give pregnancy tests and other forms of help. Call your local social services office and they might be able to direct you. You can have a variety of problems that might not be able to be cured by over the counter meds. If you r sexually active you could have something even more serious. Check with your partner and see if they have been tested for any STD's. It might be as simple as a yeast infection but it could be worse. If you have been sexually active for a long time with one person and you all of a sudden switch partners you tend to itch alot to. You can drink lots of Cranberry juice and try store bought remidies but by then you could have paid for a doctors visit.

Sounds like you might have a yeast infection. Go try some over the counter medication for yeast infections. Some of them come with an ointment that helps relieve the itching right away. There are many brands, but they all work well.

Have your mom take you to the doctor and get an examination. It sounds like it may be a yeast infection. Until then, buy some vagisil and it can stop the itching and irritation.

Hopefully you haven't been sexually active because it could be a lot of things, but probably just a yeast infection.
I suggest you go to your local county hospital. They have to treat you regardless of your ability to pay.
Go see a doctor and don't scratch with fingernails because you don't want an infection there!

This is what you do. Drink Cranberry juice, NOT cocktail - proper juice and eat as much yogurt as you can tolerate. Stay away from sugar sweetened things, anything with sugar will irritate it if you have a vaginal infection and/or a bladder infection. Start saving for some medical coverage.
