Now granted there were the days of Bo Jackson and the LA Raiders, but why the continuation? They are really bad this year and people continue to think they are in SoCal. Is it because of the name "Raiders" and the "Real men wear black" logo that makes them so popular. Anybody heard of the LA Rams? Yeah, they were here too, but nobody loves them. Why? and no i am not a hater, i am just curious of the allure.

The Raiders played in LA up until about 8 years ago so a lot of fans have remained from the days when they were down there. Bo Jackson and Marcus Allen were on the team during this period and it was very cool to be a Raider fan as well.

That's easy, there are alot of gangs in LA. The Raider Nation really became popular here after the whole "gangsta" rap thing hit big in the mid 90's. As soon as NWA started wearing Raiders gear every idiot with a shaved head and a wife beater went out and bought a jersey. But down here in the real SoCal, San Diego, it's all Chargers, always has been.

The Rams abandoned the area. It's hard to stay a fan when your team leaves town. You would think they all would become Chargers fans, but then again, before last year, the Chargers were the laughing stock of the NFL. Remember young Eli would rather go to law school than be a Charger?

By comparison, the Raiders just moved a few miles. The Rams moved halfway across the country.

depending on the agenda, everywhere between 5 and eight wins is accessible given the strikes they have made. they have replaced overpaid skills (and from time to time, lack there of) for countless function gamers, so realistically, they could't do worse. Their secondary and linebacking corps are already better effective than something they positioned on the sector very last 3 hundred and sixty 5 days, so as it truly is a initiate. yet i do not see Allen getting fired till they win below 4 video games, and that i don't believe of Pryor has a lot of a destiny in Oakland. They traded for Matt Flynn and drafted Tyler Wilson contained in the 4th round for a reason. Pryor has large athletic ability yet that would not recommend he can play QB contained in the NFL. He do not have the accuracy or the arm power.

If SoCal loved the Raiders so much, why could the Raiders never average more than 50,000 fans per game per season in the LA Colisseum which holds over 90,000?

It's the raider mystic that is still alive and well from the 70's and 80's, the black and silver everyone associates with motorcycle gangs and tough acting people. Just like in Cleveland in the 80's when they had winning teams they nicknamed them the dawg's and why is it still here even though they play like a dog nowdays.

The people that love the Raiders are mostly a bunch of punk ghetto scum. Pimps, drug dealers and prostitute banging losers. The raiders once. . (30 years ago) were the tough neck, outlaw badboys of the NFL. That is why all the punk losers who are actually wimps wore their colors because they THOUGHT it made them look tough! Now however. . and for the last ten years. . . the Raiders have been the bend over boys of the NFL! They are pathetic and habitually get their butts kicked! Still however. . . the loser street scum thinks the black colors make them look tough. I see one of these losers with the Raider Nation stickers or jackets and I just laugh. . thinking to myself. . WHAT A LOSER! Raider nation. . . WHAT A JOKE. . .more like BUTT RAIDER NATION! HA HA HA>

Well, since LA doesn't have a football team, and the Chargers are doing nothing... Raiders at least is from LA, and is in CA. Honestly I don't think Raiders are THAT popular in LA, in fact, I don't think NFL FOOTBALL is that big.. NCAA, YEAH!

Yeah, they're in Oakland; however, northern Californians aren't too crazy about them. They prefer the 49ers in San Francisco, across the bay.
