Expect to pay over $100 a piece for the shows like Ka Cirque du Soleil and Le Reve but well worth the experience.
You'll need to purchase tickets before you go as they are sold out and you may not get to see what you want.
Go to this or any other site to purchse tickets in advance.

Also check into a day trip by helicopter to the Grand Canyon, unbeleivable!

There are plenty of places to se for free like the Treasure Island, Mirage, Belaggio, Fremont Street. Or shopping at the Forum shops at Caesar's or a getaway trip to the discount retailers like the Las Vegas Outlet Center.

A magic show (like David Copperfield) and a Cirque du Soleil show (like the new Beatles one).
I saw David Copperfield last month and it was a great show. Lots of members from the audience get involved (I got pulled up on stage and still couldn't figure out how he did things).
I didn't get a chance to see any of the Cirque du Soleil shows, but everyone says good things and I've heard the new Beatles one is excellent

How about Lance Burton and one of the Cirque Du Soleil shows
The best one is "O' and it is located at the Bellagio
I can also suggest La Rev (The Wynn Resort) and Ka (MGM)
The newest show with Beatles music is very popular, but not as good as the original productions.
You should try to get your tickets NOW

Cutie Pie - you have to go see Cirque de Soleil's "O". It is AMAZING. I think the two words I used to describe it after I walked out were "surreal and breathtaking". Anybody that goes to Vegas needs to see it. I would see it again, and again, and again. Don't be turned off by the "wet seats". We sat in front and only got light mist. The downside to being too close is that you can't see all of the stuff that is going on - either way - it will be the most memorable, entertaining show you will ever see. :)

You have to see LeReve at Wynn ... much better than "O" and all the seats are great.
Celine Dion is fabulous, and Mystere and KA are great. Haven't seen the new Beatles "Love" yet.
Have fun!

Lance Burton was awesome. Also, make sure you visit the Liberace museum for a guided tour. I wasn't familiar with him at all before I went there but it was amazing and the stories were very touching. I've been to Vegas many times and this is now my favorite thing to do there.

advice: if your coming from the east coast, don't book a late show. My husband and I both fell asleep soon after the 10 pm show started; total waste of money
