I love Gladys Knight! She is a classic beauty with so much class. She is one of few artist that has not lost the quality of her singing voice as she ages. Whenever I hear one of her songs, I am moved because she sings her songs with so much heart and soul.

I loved her songs with the Pip's in the 70's That was some really good stuff. I sometimes wish they would write songs like that again. Mrs. Knight became a Mormon. God knows why!?(please pardon the pun) The Mormons were a religion that up until recently excluded African Americans cause they said they had the mark of Cain. Why she would join them boggles the mind!
Other than that I think she is a supper lady with a fantastic voice. I wish there were more like her.
By the way Kristen H She was only with Motown from 1966 to 73 Her biggest hit Midnight train to Georgia and I got to use my imagination Came with Buddha records in 1973. From 1958 to 1966 they were on the Brunswick label. Motown had very little to do with their success. That was the reason they left Motown records. They never had a number one hit with Motown. They were always taking a back seat to the other big names there.

I love Gladys Knight. I have alot of her music and listen to her often. Shes definitely one of my favorites. She's a classic! My favorites are:

Gladys Knight and Keyshia Knight Pulliam are NOT related...I think Gladys Knight is very talented and she looks damned good for her age!

GLADYS ,what can you say she like no other,she a great singer
loves her voice.the song she sing has great meaning to them
if she were to do another concert I'll be there .I would listen to
all of her music I wish that i can fine her CD like the best of Gladys
knight ,that have midnight train to GA.all the way to the last one she made on one CD.if you have not gone to her restaurants.u must go .it in the Atlanta area.it call chicken and waffle. re.re

She was singing a lot with The Pips in the 70s and had many hits. Her daughter was on The Cosby Show as "Rudy".

I think she's one of the greatest Motown singers in the world, as a solo artist or with the Pips.
