no because the first few PS3's will have bugs in them, and then it wont sell.

If you're a big fan of migraine headaches, go ahead. The problem is, some dope in Oregon or Nebraska or South Dakota or England will bid and win the item. They can't afford it, but they'll bid and win it anyway. They'll pay you, you'll ship it to them and they will open it. They will set it up, use it for a few days and then claim something is wrong with it, and they want their money back. They will claim that you did something with it when you had it in you possession, and it's your fault and why are you even questioning their complaint. They'll swear it's your problem and you'll swear it's their problem and you just know you could clear up the entire mess if you could just call and talk to them. But you can't. That's not how online auctions work. It's your word against theirs. You'll eventually have to suck it up, refund their money and get a poorly-packaged, used PS3 on your doorstep in the middle of January, at the same time all of your other Christmas bills arrive in your mailbox. If you were talking about an item that was valued at $20 or less, I'd say sure--give it a shot. But you're talking about a PS3--an expensive video-game playing computer that would cost so much to ship and insure, your profit would be almost negligible. If you're looking to turn a Christmas profit on a hot "must-have" item, go stock up on the new Tickle Me Elmo TMX. Keep the boxes unopened, put them in smoke-free storage and put 'em all up for bid around December 10th. That will be much easier. It's still a gamble, but at least you're not shipping computers halfway to Pluto just so some idiot can mess with your head and your integrity.

Hmmm maybe as I don't think Wal Mart is gonna get them- or least that is what I believe I heard.. So therefor if Wal Mart don't get them then yes you could make some $$ on it but then again why would someone want to buy something like that w/o a in store warranty? hmm I dunno. There are pros's and con's of this. Sorry I really didn't help you at all..lol

If you can get them, yes. Problem is a preorder doesn't garuntee anything. Most stores will get 5-6. Unless you know someone who can hook you up, GOOD LUCK
