No, that's just the typical liberal blame game. Blair's career is temporarily ruined because he dared to stand up and do what he knew was right for his country and for the world, despite popular opinion.............and it IS only temporary. History will judge him more kindly than the present.

Bush will do anything to take the heat off of himself. They both helped to ruin Blair's career because Blair is in bush's pocket and basically he is his little lapdog. I do not like either of them and I am glad Tony Blair will be going but at the same time I do not like Gorden Brown..
The whole labour party as a whole is a badly constructed party as they are divided on many issues and views.

I believe Blair won an election after the onset of the War in Iraq. It's my understanding that there was a plot in the Labour party to get rid of him.

Blair ruined Blair's career. He had a fairly good run until his decision on how to participitate in the "war" we are now embroiled in. He lost the populist favor as well he should have.

British PM's must always pay for American help in the "Great War--parts I and II" the Federal Reserve Scam and Operation Ajax.

Atenea, you seem like a well-intended person. I am afraid that the Franco-German resistance was because they wanted to sell arms to and buy oil from Iraq/Iran. Note that Germany is closer to the mid-east than US and *has no oil*. This thing is about oil, not freedom.

When Blair soon steps down he will be remembered as one of few European Heads of State who dared to take a stance and defend liberal values (as opposed to the cowards in Germany and France who cared more about election results).
