because we are a government for the ppl and by the ppl....we own this nation its just that we are too lazy to take responsibility for it.

The people cannot all speak and make changes as individuals so we need an advocate.The poeple need someone who will represent them as a whole and who actually wants to make a difference for the better.
If not then we are all doomed as this country will not be classed as a democratic society...Mind you, the way things have been going the past few years, anyone with half a brain would realise that it isn't really a democratic society as much as it should be. There are many limitations on what we can say considering its freedom of speech.
