No Park and Rides in London. There are a couple of car parks within a 5-10 minute walk from the Tower eg one on Cable Street (between Leman Street and Royal Mint) and one on Backchurch Lane (under railway bridge near corner of Cable Street). These are less than £10 a day but are usually for commuters during the week so I don't know if they're open on weekends (pretty sure the Cable Street one is).

There is also free street parking in the area between Tower Bridge tube station and Aldgate East tube station but check the signs as not everything is free.

There is definitely no park and ride in Central London and I haven't come across any in the rest of London. If you want to drive from Portsmouth to go into Central London, you're better of parking near one of the South London tube stations and then catching the tube.

You will pay anything from £15 a day to park near the Tower. What day are you coming and for how long ?

Don't think so but you can get a Megabus from the Hard or Winston Churchill Avenue up to London and it's really cheap like £1 each way or something.

Check out the Megabus website at www.megabus.com

Parking in London is a nightmare - you'd be better off using public transport.
