They are OK in moderation. If you take to much of the vitamin c drops with your prenatal vitamins you might end up with vitamin c toxicity. Avoid one with alcohol preps as well.. To tell you the truth gargling with warm salt water does the trick also. The salt kills the bacteria that is causing your throat to be sore.

First I am not a doctor so asking your own doctor for any questions about medication and pregnancy is the best way to go. But I also have been pregnant twice myself and know that for me, cough drops were fine, they have very little medicine in each. I wouldnt suggest sitting down to "enjoy" a whole bag of them but it seems to me that if you are taking the time and having the concern to ask about cough drops before even taking them that you would use better judgement than that! :)
So, again asking your doctor with meds and pregnancy is the best route but in this case with vitamin C and/or cough drops, i'd say your baby will be good and healthy sounds like he/she has a mom who already has good judgement! Good Luck!

Yes, it is safe. Just ask your doctor before using a syrup, though, as thouse contain many different items that are not good for you while pregnant.

Depends on how far along you are. Call you OB and ask if it is ok. Your OB needs to be with you every step of the way. If anything it will ease your fears and mind.
