Lots!

Mainly the people don't realise that they don't have to stay there if they don't like it. It really is an island mentality where it wouldnt cross their mind to move to another country like you would if you lived on the mainland and got fed up.

They also seem to moan about everything and complain about nothing.

You meant to say whats wrong with UK people, not Uk, there is nothing wrong with the Uk, its a country like any other in this world, it called United Kingdom.

You mean the state of the UK infrastructure at present? If you do, I'll sum up here what I believe in brief:

1. Schooling- bring back apprentiships and the grammar system.

2. Re-nationalize our services (restore Britain's industry to British interests)

3. Life here is not appealing enough to UK residents and is too appealing to unskilled immigrants, this needs to be reversed.

4. Harsher legal system needs to be implemented, esp. concerning aforementioned immigrants (who need to be told 'One conviction, no matter how minor, and you go back home'

This is just to get the ball rolling. We need to re-install a national identity and pride and stop relying so heavily on foreign input. Note I have in no way made a racist claim or over-generalised; not all immigration is bad; only that which involved unskilled or unwilling individuals/groups.

Is this what you were looking for?

The NHS closing down, being in debt, shortage of medical practitioners, etc...

Public transport? Eurgh. Never turns up on time, or is difficult to get anywhere! My train was 15 minutes late recently. My brother bought a student railcard and they don't accept them before 10am. What kind of college starts after 10am? They don't sell return tickets on the train either. That's what's on my nerves at the moment.

Plus the whole illegal immigrants rant (not my ground, but you hear it all of the time) and also the fact Blair sent our army out to Iraq. Blargh.

Crime? We have such high convictions rates because all our police force runs on is pulling people over for speeding! Much lower when it comes to things like domestic violence, drugs, burglaries, assault etc. (I know this much because my Aunt worked for the police)

And the person who said chavs.... hahahaha, true that.

It's a bit cold and damp at the moment - however, our US cousins are working on a cure: Global Warming!
Soon, it will be like the south of France & all will be well.

We're also rubbish at sports, but the rest of the world will soon be uninhabitably hot, so we'll be able to clean up there too.

Don't worry - it will soon be perfection itself.

I've never been there. But why ask this question? I am just curious. Every country has something wrong with it.....a lot of things wrong with it, that is. I have never met a brit. that I didn't like.
