I actually had a hard time with this one. I have a perspective that lets me learn from the worst experiences as well as the best. So, while I have had bad days, I view them from this perspective and I only see that they weren’t so bad once I extracted the lesson that they taught.

Day #1: The day my mother left us. I was 12 and came home from a week long school experience called Outdoor Lab. Snow was coming down hard…the beginning of the blizzard of 1982 in Denver. I had to walk home with my duffel bag on my shoulder because no one had come to pick me up. I had no key to the house…mom had always been home and I never needed one. I sat on the porch as the snow fell until my older brother came home from Jr. High School and opened the door. He told me that mom left while I was gone.

Over the next 25 years I learned to forgive her. I grew quickly to take responsibility around the house for my younger brothers and sister (just a toddler when mom left.)
I now have a good relationship with her, so the shock and pain of her leaving is healed.

Day #2: The day I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. It sucks to have a condition that deteriorates as the years go by. It sucks to need injections, infusions, and a yearly MRI to map the damage of the disease. Still, it is a relief to know that I won’t live in mortality forever, so I won’t have this condition forever. Also, it is a relief to know why I lose feeling in my arms, legs, torso, neck; and why I get vertigo that lasts for weeks at a time.

The best and worst day of my life was the day that my mother left me and my father didn't want anything to do with me. Why I say its the worst day is because they left me and seemed like I was a bother and it hurt a lot and everyone for the rest of my life seemed to treat me that way. It was the best day of my life because through that experience I realized attachment and the real problem with ourselves. I never want anyone to experience it, like death, but without this teaching, even death, you will never realize the delusional states we all live in today. Have a great day :)

Now, this is a depressive question if I ever seen one.

The day my mom died was probably the worst (I was 17 by then)

Second worse would be when I lost my job in th company I was working 3 years ago...

When they found a cantelope-sized mass in my dog's abdomen. That took more than 2 days to get the info about, so that takes both of my top two places.

Well, #1 would be when I had an open heart surgery at age 18 months old, because everyone thought I was going to die; and when I had to move to another state & leave my friends.
